When Words Aren’t Enough

“Gratitude” is a word that comes up frequently during the holiday season, along with “blessings,” “family,” and “community.” This year we are especially thankful – for each and every one of our clients who continue to support us not only year after year, but also in the aftermath of the 10/20 tornado. After witnessing the destruction throughout Dallas, around our neighborhood, across the street, and even inside our center, we feel blessed each and every day. Our local community has rallied around us to assist with the rebuilding of Preston Royal, and because of the help we’ve received and continue to receive, we are coming back stronger and better than ever.

How do we thank each and every individual? How do we take the time to let everyone know just how much they mean to us, not only as clients, but as human beings and friends? How do we let people know that the emails, texts, phone calls, and drop-ins during the eleven days we were closed meant the world to us? It left such an impression on us that we are forever changed within. When tragedy does strike, it is awe-inspiring to see how much the community truly cares.

Since words cannot fully express our gratitude, we’ve decided to host an event this holiday season to reflect how we feel.

Please join us for Ken’s Gratitude Event on Thursday, December 5th from 5:30 to 8 pm. Enjoy live music from the Liszt Duo, plus a wine tasting from local distributor Scout and Cellar. There will be prizes to win, special guests, new items for the holiday season, and the kick-off of our annual book and toy drive for the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.

We hope you can join us to celebrate our gratitude on December 5th!

Feeling thankful,
